Every year in November, the Cannabis Cup takes place in Amsterdam. And every year the freshest artists perform with shows all over the city. Last year I had the opportunity to interview Leon during this event. This year my friend Rakaa Iriscience was hosting the Barrington Levy show. Before Barrington had to perform, Chali 2na, known from Jurrasic 5 and Ozomatli blessed us with a show on stage.

Earlier this year Chali 2na dropped his solo album “Fish Outta Water” and has been touring since. Thanks to Rakaa, I had the chance to sit down with Mr Fish himself. In order to get to know more about the man behind the music, I twisted this interview into straight “randomness”, in which we get to know more personal and fun facts about this well respected MC. We talk about his favorite snack, politics and 2na even tells me things he never told anyone in an interview before. This was a lot of fun, if it was up to 2na, we would still be sitting there, talking random. =)
